About Me // Kat Salisbury // Kat SalisburyTherapies

Hello, I am Kat and I understand the impact of dealing with difficulties alone. Therapy is a supportive and helpful space where acceptance, understanding and finding your voice is actively encouraged. I am person centred in my approach, with a toolkit of creative and action based resources that can heighten awareness and confidence for you to work towards your goals.  I am integrative in my style, incorporating creative arts, dramatherapy, action methods, psychodrama, EMDR and bodywork approaches.

I am a UKCP Psychodrama Psychotherapist and State Registered Dramatherapist, Psychodramatic Bodywork® Graduate, Psychodramatic Bodywork® Trainer and a UKCP, BPA & BADth Creative Clinical Supervisor. I have worked therapeutically for over 25 years.

I have a private practice in North East Derbyshire offering one to one therapy and clinical supervision face to face and online to adults. For one to one therapy and supervision enquiries please contact: psychodrama@katsalisbury.co.uk

In addition I co-facilitate ongoing psychodrama therapy groups in Sheffield City centre as well as creative supervision groups. Group supervision can be offered face to face and online. I co-facilitate group sessions with Sarah Morley who is trained in person centred counselling and psychodrama psychotherapy. We have worked together for over 5 years offering group sessions utilising action methods.  Training days, weekends and residential courses can be explored on request. For group enquiries please contact: therapythroughaction@gmail.com

Furthermore I work as a sole provider through local authorities Adoption and Specialist Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF). I provide therapy to children and their families at a venue in West Bretton, West Yorkshire. As part of the therapy I offer support to children with significant emotional needs and attachment difficulties, arising from trauma in their lives. The goal of the therapy is to improve relationships, emotional regulation and wellbeing. For my work with children and families please contact: katsalisburywork@gmail.com

A new offering as part of my professional practice from July 2026 will be facilitating courses  in Psychodramatic Bodywork®. For further information, contact the psychodramatic bodywork® team at:  infopsychodramaticbodyworkuk@gmail.com
