About Me

Hello, I’m Kat.

I understand how difficult it can be to carry life’s challenges on your own. Therapy offers a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and encouraged to find your voice.

My approach is warm, creative, and collaborative. I work in a person-centred and integrative way, drawing on Psychodrama, Dramatherapy, EMDR, Psychodramatic Bodywork®, creative arts, and action methods to help you build awareness, confidence, and meaningful change.

I am a UKCP Psychodrama Psychotherapist, State Registered Dramatherapist, EMDR practitioner, Psychodramatic Bodywork® Graduate and Trainer, and a UKCP, BPA and BADth accredited Clinical Supervisor. I have over 25 years’ experience working therapeutically with adults, children, families, and groups.

How I Work

Adults
I offer one-to-one therapy and clinical supervision, both online and in person, from my private practice in North East Derbyshire. I have vast experience working with complex trauma, dissociation, anxiety and stress. For enquiries please contact: psychodrama@katsalisbury.co.uk

Groups
Alongside Sarah Morley, I facilitate psychodrama therapy groups, creative supervision groups and CPD training sessions in Sheffield, using action methods to support emotional, personal and professional development.  For group therapy and training enquiries please contact: therapythroughaction@gmail.com

Children & Families
Through the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF), I provide therapy from a venue off junction 37 (M1) near Wakefield, West Yorkshire for children and families affected by trauma, attachment difficulties, and emotional challenges, supporting stronger relationships, emotional regulation, and wellbeing. For my work with children and families please contact: katsalisburywork@gmail.com

Training
From July 2026, I will be offering Psychodramatic Bodywork® training courses for people seeking to deepen their therapeutic practice regarding the importance of the link between the body and repressed emotions.  For further information, contact the psychodramatic bodywork® team at:  infopsychodramaticbodyworkuk@gmail.com

If you would like to explore working together, I would be happy to hear from you.
