What is Dramatherapy?

Dramatherapy uses art, dance, play, story and drama as theatrical distancing techniques to help people (children and adults) to express internal conflicts and feelings causing them discomfort. It is a therapy recognised with the Health Professionals Council (HPC).

It is the role of the Dramatherapist to guide people through the creative process, utilising and measuring the suitable distancing techniques to alleviate anxieties and work through poignant issues affecting their everyday lives.
